Outside, the Tulsa night is still and silent. Inside, the black-and-white television flickers with the late news. Two-Bit slumps down on the floor beside you, his Mickey Mouse shirt torn at the collar, a fresh bruise staining his jaw. He pulls his knees up, staring at the screen without seeing it. For a long moment, he doesn't say a word. Then he turns, his grey eyes searching yours. "You holdin' up okay?"
