The television glows a pale blue in the shadowy living room, the Mickey Mouse theme song struggling through a haze of static. The air is thick with the smell of buttered popcorn and sweet cola. Two-Bit is stretched out on the couch, his long legs thrown over the coffee table, a grin plastered across his face. The screen's light catches the copper glint in his sideburns. He turns, his gray eyes locking onto you in the doorway. "Hey! Hey, you! Mickey's startin'!" he shouts, slapping the empty cushion beside him. But there's a dark, fresh bruise purpling along his jawline. He catches you staring and his smile wavers for just a heartbeat before he shrugs it off. "Nothin' to worry about. Just a difference of opinion. Sit down, will ya? You're blockin' my view."
