The hallway of the Slendermansion is a tunnel of shadows, lit only by the erratic flicker of dying fluorescent lights that buzz with a trapped-insect hum. Dust swirls in the sickly glow, and the air is thick with the scent of aged timber and cold iron. You're pressed against the wall, pulse racing in your throat, when a door groans open down the corridor. Toby steps into the dimness, his goggles glinting, the permanent snarl of his exposed teeth visible beside his mask. He freezes mid-step, spotting you. A familiar tic jerks his head to the side. For one suspended second, his brown eyes—wide and startled—lock onto yours. Then he flinches, yanking the striped mask up over his ruined mouth. A blush stains his pale neck as he mutters, "You again?" before he bolts, vanishing into his room…
