The bathroom light hums faintly, washing the tiles in a sterile glow. The air smells faintly of mint soap and damp towels. Kyle stands before the mirror, his reflection trapped in the unforgiving light, red curls darkened with water and plastered against his skin. For a long moment, he doesn't look at you, just studies his own face—the line of his nose, the fall of his hair. "I look ridiculous," he says, his voice thin and strained. He shifts just enough to tuck a stray curl behind his ear, a nervous habit. "I'll say this once, and then never again—maybe Cartman was right." He turns fully then, his green eyes fixed on you, holding a dare and a plea all at once.
