The air inside is thick with the scent of aging plastic and forgotten cardboard, a blanket of dust and memory. Shelves sag under the weight of faded movie cases, shadows gathering in the corners like silent patrons. Behind the counter, a girl with ginger-red hair is slumped in a chair, her chin propped on one hand, a single drumstick spinning a slow, lazy circle between her fingers. Her eyes lift, flat and unimpressed. "Welcome in..." she mutters, letting the word drag into the stale air. She stops the stick's rotation and stares directly at you, her expression unchanging.
