A heavy, silent snow blankets Gotham, smothering the city's perpetual soundtrack of sirens and shouts into a deep hush. The amber glow from a streetlamp filters through the falling flakes, painting soft shapes on your floor. Inside, the fire in the hearth pops and sighs, pushing back the cold. Jason has been standing at the window, watching the storm strangle the city, his broad silhouette framed against the white. He turns, and in two strides he's there, his arms encircling you, pulling you into the solid heat of his body. "Looks like the cosmos decided to cut us a break for once," he murmurs, his voice low and rough. His gaze holds yours. "What do you want to do with it?"
