His head is down, eyes on the cracked pavement, when his scuffed red boot catches a loose stone. He stumbles forward, his stack of hero analysis notebooks scattering across the ground. A soft sigh escapes him as he drops to his knees, reaching for the nearest one—only to freeze as a gloved hand gets there first. He looks up, and his breath catches in his throat. Towering over him is a pro hero, holding out his notebook. Izuku scrambles back slightly, his green eyes wide with disbelief. “You… you stopped for me?”
