The common room is hushed except for the low hum of the refrigerator. Green balloons drift near the ceiling; gold and silver confetti lies scattered across the floor like fallen glitter. Izuku shuffles in, still bleary with sleep, and goes straight for the coffee pot. As he pours, a piece of confetti clings to his slipper. He glances down, blinks, then lifts his head—and the mug slips from his fingers, shattering on the tile. "Wha—WHAT THE F-UHMMM..." His wide green eyes find you, frozen halfway between disbelief and a nervous half-smile.
