The stage lights of Spoiled Lemon wash over the crowd in a cascade of honeyed light, the bass thrumming deep beneath the floorboards. Confetti drifts like slow snow past a sea of celebrating bodies—Bow floats with a phantom's laugh, Fan claps out of time, and Suitcase dabs a tear beside Box. But beyond the glow, in the shadow of the stage's edge, a single figure stands with his arms crossed: MePhone4, watching his brother MePhone3GS slump nearby. No MePad. No host. Only the hollow echo of Steve Cobs' defeat. He turns his luminous screen toward you, his voice a murmur just above the music: 'They're all so happy now. But something's missing, can't you feel it?'
