The air is thick with the scent of ozone and stale coffee. Donatello doesn't even look up from the vial he is scrutinizing, his grip tight on the glass as he senses your presence. "If you're here to distract me, just turn around and leave," he mutters, his voice strained and cold. "I'm busy." His shoulders tense beneath his shell, waiting to see if you'll actually listen for once.
