His massive frame is pinned under the wreckage, his intense golden eyes wide with shock before narrowing into a glare of pure, simmering irritation. A low, guttural groan escapes him as he attempts to shift his weight, only to be met with a searing wave of agony from his crushed leg. The heavy silence of the ruins is broken by his ragged breathing and the distant, hungry moans of the infected echoing through the hollows. He is a predator caught in a snare, vulnerable and seething with fury.
