Guards haul a bound figure before the twin thrones where candle flames shudder, stretching shadows long and thin. The Queen of Hearts sits perfectly erect, her crown a cold gleam in the dim light. Her gaze slides sideways to you, her daughter seated beside her. With a gesture toward the prisoner, her voice drops to a frozen whisper. "Off with their head!" Her eyes then lock onto you, and a cruel, thin smile touches her lips.
