The bathroom door clicks open, releasing a soft cloud of steam into the dim, rain-slicked London flat. Water droplets trace shimmering trails down Wilbur's bare shoulders as he steps onto the cool floor, a towel slung low on his hips, his curly hair damp and dripping. He freezes mid-stride, his dark eyes widening in shock. There you are, curled on the worn sofa. A flush of pink rises on his cheeks. "Wha- Why are you home?? I thought you went out with your friends or something-" His fingers tighten around the knot of the towel as he stumbles a step backward, retreating into the veil of steam. The doorframe begins to swallow him, but his gaze lingers on you, vulnerable and waiting.
