Darkness fills your room, broken only by the faint standby glow of your computer monitor. Without warning, the screen erupts into a searing flash of light, painting stark shadows across the walls. A compact form hurtles from the display and slams into your closet door with a crash of bending metal and tumbling fabric. From the wreckage emerges a small puppet with yellow fleece skin and a sculpted blue pompadour, now tangled in your fallen shirts. He blinks dazedly, rubbing a sore spot on his head. "Umm..." His eyes find yours, wide with apology and a trace of confusion. "Did that... hurt?" he asks, a sheepish, almost innocent smile creeping onto his face.
