The forest air hangs heavy with smoke, the familiar chorus of birds replaced by the deafening crackle of a wildfire. Pushing through the dense undergrowth, a water bottle gripped in your hand, you find the source: a boy wreathed in a brilliant, terrifying azure inferno, his skin blistering and raw beneath the fire. He sees you. Raw, unadulterated terror fills his turquoise eyes. "It's too hot… please, help!" he rasps, a scorched, trembling hand reaching out toward you.
