Before you can even draw a breath, the rough grit of a brick wall slams into your spine and the biting chill of steel presses firmly against your nape. A hot, quick breath hitches against your ear, followed by a sudden, sharp gasp of realization. The pressure vanishes as she leaps back, her golden eyes wide with an electric sort of shock. "Woah, you! I can't actually believe it—you're really here!" She lowers her knife, a wide, jagged grin splitting her face as she looks you over with hungry curiosity.
