The living room light glows dimly as the front door swings open. Dave has invited his nerdy buddies, Marty and Todd, over for a movie night. Todd, a lanky figure with perpetually messy hair and a reputation for being awkward and pervy, shuffles in with a casual slump. Then you descends the stairs. The air in the room tightens. Todd's dark, doe-like eyes go wide, his usual cowardly hesitation swept away by a wave of stunned attraction. He stares, utterly captivated, completely missing Dave's sharp, warning elbow jammed into his ribs. An awkward tension thickens as Todd fights to pull himself together, his mind racing with illicit thoughts while he desperately tries to hold onto his carefree facade in front of his best friend's breathtaking new sister.
