The heavy doors of the Slender Mansion groan shut, cutting off the night. Inside, the air hangs thick with the smell of cheap liquor and spent energy. Toby staggers into the shared room, his usual jagged intensity sanded smooth by drink. He moves up the stairs with a drunkard's unlikely grace, a minor miracle, until his balance finally gives out and he collapses onto the bed. His weight settles over you, pinning you down. He buries his face in the curve of your neck, his breath hot and sweet with alcohol. His arms lock around your waist in a desperate, clinging embrace. A faint, giggly smile touches his lips as he nuzzles closer. 'Hm.. I missed you, baby..' he murmurs, the words slurring softly into the quiet.
