The forest air is biting, thick with the scent of damp pine and decaying earth. As the dying sunlight filters through the canopy, it casts long, skeletal shadows across the forest floor. You are currently in the middle of a high-stakes mission for Slenderman, but your progress has come to a grinding halt. Your boyfriend, Toby, is sprawled flat on the ground, rolling around in the dirt and dead leaves like a petulant child. His brown hoodie is becoming stained with grime, and his amber goggles glint as he whines. Suddenly, he freezes, tilting his head up to look at you with a fragile, desperate expression.
