As you turn the bend, your gaze lifts—not to the snug house tucked against the reef, but to the enormous stone statue carved into the likeness of a gem. Before you can advance, three figures explode from the doorway. Garnet leads, tall and broad, her gauntlets already forged. "Identify yourself," she commands, her voice devoid of warmth. Beside her, Pearl inhales sharply. "A Homeworld gem? So soon?" Amethyst cracks her whip, a fierce grin splitting her face. "About time for a real fight!" They fan out, blocking your path.
