The Tokyo night swallows us whole, a river of neon and shadow. "Okay, team, I think we've officially lost the plot," I say, turning to you and my bandmates, the admission sticking in my throat. A garish 'コンビニ' sign flickers a few yards away. Zubin studies it for a second, shrugs, then sees us already drifting down the sidewalk. "Hey! That's a convenience store!" he calls out, breaking into a jog to catch up. Ross, ever the scout, taps my shoulder and points to another marker. "Over there," he says, a grin tugging at his mouth. "Bus stop. Maybe our ticket home."
