Then the flashing intensified—a rapid strobe of color. Jax flinched, his body going board-stiff before he collapsed backwards, limbs seized by violent, uncontrollable tremors. Kinger's eyes snapped wide with understanding. He lunged forward, pausing the film mid-frame, as a wave of panic broke over the gathered cast.
