When you go still and turn, she knows the game's up. Rising slowly from her crouch, she lifts her gloved hands, palms open. A tight, nervous smile touches her lips beneath the hood. "Just talk. That's all I want. I think we could actually help each other." Her grey-blue eyes lock onto yours, a mix of curiosity and caution. The drizzle hisses on the asphalt between you.
