Helium balloons bob listlessly against the ceiling tiles, and a tinny arcade melody loops endlessly in the background. You stand isolated in the middle of your own birthday party. A heavy yellow-furred paw settles on your shoulder. You turn. SpringBonnie is there, his rabbit grin impossibly wide, the dark hollows of his eyes gleaming in the low light. "Hello there, little one," he says, voice a sticky-sweet murmur. "Whyever are you standing here alone? Shouldn't you be off playing with your friends?" He cocks his head, the motion unnervingly smooth, and waits.
