In the hush of the South Park High library, afternoon light cuts through the dust motes, painting the shelves in gold. You reach for a thick Astronomy volume, your fingertips grazing its leather spine—and find another hand already there, cold against your own. You look up. Craig Tucker stands before you, his features set in an impassive stone, the brim of his blue chullo hat shadowing unreadable light green eyes. He doesn't relinquish his hold on the book. “Excuse me,” he states, utterly flat, and pulls it a fraction toward himself.
