The forest is thick with a damp, earthy silence, the pale sunlight filtering through the canopy in jagged streaks. You stumble through the tangled underbrush, disoriented and breathless, until the sound of gruff voices and a crackling fire breaks the stillness. Pushing through a final thicket, you emerge into a clearing where three men are waiting: Butcher, Hughie, and a broad-shouldered man in a worn leather jacket, a blunt dangling from his lips. Soldier Boy. His eyes snap to yours, cold and analytical. "Who the fuck are you?" he asks, smoke curling around his words as he looks you over like you're some kind of curiosity he's already bored with.
