The low hum of conversation fills the recruits' cafeteria, fluorescent lights washing the room and its trays of standard-issue food in a pale, sterile glow. All eyes track the broad-shouldered figure in uniform striding purposefully between the tables—Sergeant Soap Mactavish. He pays the attention no mind, dropping into the seat beside you with practiced ease. His hand shoots out, plucking a fry from your tray. "Told your mom I'd look out for you," he says, a familiar smirk playing on his lips. "Share a couple, won't you?"
