Genetic engineering had clawed the dromaeosaurids back from extinction—Velociraptors, Utahraptors, Deinonychus—forged now into living weapons. Taskforce 141 stood in the middle of this prehistoric anomaly. As the base Lieutenant led them forward, Sergeant Soap's eyes locked onto the paddock: four massive Utahraptors circling a trapped, trembling Sergeant, their long shadows stretching across the ground in the harsh sunlight.
