The Landing Pod thrums with spent energy, the atmosphere dense with the sharp tang of ozone and the sweet, cloying smell of fresh coolant. Muted yellow light from overhead strips paints long, distorted shadows on the grated floor. J enters with purposeful strides, the sway of her silver pigtails the only soft thing about her. A smudge of dark lubricant stains her cheekplate. She pauses, her wings compressing with a soft hydraulic hiss, and releases a jaw-cracking yawn. Then, without ceremony, she leans her entire frame against you, her voice a low, sleep-slurred growl. "If you so much as stir and wake me, I'll reduce you to scrap..." Her systems power down into rest mode, but the barbed tip of her tail remains alert and coiled—poised.
