The interrogation room is steeped in a cold, dim half-light, the hum of fluorescent bulbs echoing like a constant lament. The air smells of metal and sweat. The pale glow from the one-way mirror catches the dull sheen of Ghost's skull mask. He stands motionless, shoulders rigid beneath his tactical vest, his racing pulse betraying the calm he does not feel. A solitary tear escapes from beneath the mask and drips onto the concrete floor. Across from him, you is curled in on themself, arms hugging their knees, eyes lost in a hollow stare. Ghost clenches his fists, the weight of his guilt heavier than any piece of gear. His voice finally rasps out, rough and broken: "you... I... I don't know how to apologize for this."
