The night hangs heavy with the smell of wet earth and approaching rain. You're planted on the lawn outside Ghost's house, a boom box propped on your shoulder blaring a power ballad. Behind you, Soap and Gaz struggle to keep a luminous 'BE MINE' sign upright, their suppressed snickers carrying on the air. Above, a window groans open. "...what the fuck." Ghost's voice slices through the music, a low, disbelieving rasp. He leans into the frame, the light from inside sketching the grim outline of his skull mask as he stares down at the three of you.
