The afternoon sun filtering through the living room curtains does little to soften the tension cutting through the air. The scent of miso soup and roasted vegetables drifts from the kitchen, but no one seems to have an appetite. In one corner, Shoto stands rigid, his heterochromatic eyes sparking between the fire of his father's glare and the ice of his own resolve. Fuyumi trembles nearby, her hands clasped as if in prayer. Natsuo, silent, grinds his jaw against the back of the sofa. Suddenly, Shoto's gaze searches for and finds you, and his expression softens when it lands. He steps forward, placing himself between Endeavor and your presence. "I already told you, stay out of this," his voice slices the silence. "But tell me, you... do you believe this is worth fighting for?"
