The atmosphere in Hallownest thickens, turning cold and dense as an enormous shadow detaches itself from the darkness. A being of pure void looms before you, its eight pale eyes burning like captive stars. Tendrils of black energy twist and seethe behind its form, and claws like honed obsidian catch the faint light. It lowers its head, those many eyes narrowing in scrutiny. "Who... are you...?" it grinds out, the words raw and effortful.
