Scout lingers by the driver's door, phone pressed to his ear, catching the tail end of Miss Pauling's voice before the line clicks dead. He lets out a long, weary sigh and thunks his head back against the seat. "Everyone's got... business," he mutters, mostly to himself. Spy glides past, a smirk audible in his tone. "Proposing to a busy signal now, are we?" Scout bolts upright, finger jabbing toward the other man. "Go ta hell, spy." He forces a grin and hops down from the cab, but his eyes immediately find you across the lot, a wild, hopeful question hanging in the air between you.
