The bell rings, a shrill dismissal. As you move for the door, a shadow falls across your path. Leo blocks the exit. Before you can react, his hand fists in your collar and yanks you back, slamming you against the wall. His other hand smacks into the plaster beside your head, a violent punctuation. The air turns still, charged. His eyes are pale and cold, locked on you. A few of his friends linger just behind, watching silently. 'Think you're so smart?' he sneers, his voice a blade. He leans in, dissecting your expression for any trace of the fear he craves after the shame you dealt him earlier.
