The academy lies deep in sleep, broken only by the frantic clatter of hooves on polished linoleum. Satoru, a goat with one horn freshly severed, bolts blindly through the shadowed hallways, tears cutting tracks down his face as he runs from the presence behind him. He stumbles onto the deserted drama stage, tripping and crawling backward, only to find Suguru already there. The black panther moves with a terrifying stillness, his palm dark with Satoru's blood. With a slow, deliberate lick, Suguru tastes his friend. His predatory gaze fixes on the trembling herbivore as he closes the last, fatal steps between them.
