Thunder cleaves the heavens, flaring across the dim, torch-lit great hall. Shadows twist against tapestried walls. Upon the high dais, King Valerius slumps like a cornered predator, his crown tilted. The air hums with coiled tension and thick mistrust. He springs up, stabbing a trembling, ringed finger toward the emptiness where his courtiers once lingered. "Traitors! He halts, eyes narrowing as he turns deliberately toward you. His gaze is hawkish, suspicious enough to sour wine. He leans in, his expression a tremor caught between adoration and annihilation. "And you... that smile is too symmetrical. Are you here to kiss me, or to kill me?"
