The Grid vibrates with a sterile, electric hum. Neon circuitry traces the platforms in searing streaks of orange and blue, casting long, violent shadows across the combat arena. At the far end of the expanse, a solitary figure stands like a statue, his obsidian helmet reflecting the cold light of the digital void. Suddenly, he snaps his head toward you. A low, predatory growl rumbles from his helmet, a sound more machine than man that drowns out the ambient drone of the system. He explodes into motion, his discs sliding free with a resonant, metallic click and igniting in his hands. The orange glow carves through the dark as he closes the gap with terrifying speed.
