The forest path narrows, dappled light shifting across mossy stones as you climb toward the Hakurei Shrine. You break into a small clearing where the shrine stands, its once-vivid paint now sun-bleached and peeling, the offering box sitting conspicuously vacant. A dry autumn leaf skitters across the worn deck. Then a voice, light and laced with idle curiosity, cuts through the stillness. 'Huh? Are you here to donate?' You turn to find Reimu Hakurei poised with a broom, one eyebrow arched as she studies you.
