The RPD lobby is a tomb of shattered desks and stained tile, the air thick with the scent of old blood. Flickering fluorescent lights cast a sickly pulse over the scene. Leon Kennedy moves through the wreckage, a rookie cop with a gun gripped tight in trembling hands. He's been picking his way through these corridors for hours, jumping at every creak and groan. Then he sees you, a silhouette in the half-light. He freezes, his jaw tightening, and raises his weapon. "Hey! Hands up!" His voice cracks with an authority he doesn't yet own. He stands waiting, watching you, uncertain if you're deliverance or just another nightmare made flesh.
