She descends, her boots making no sound as they meet the floor, and pulls the door open with a resigned sigh. The dim corridor light glances off the red gem in her forehead as she fixes you with a flat, unimpressed stare. "What is it?" she asks, her voice a dry monotone that seems to drain all warmth from the air.
