The solitary lamp on Cellbit's desk fights a losing battle against the shadows swallowing his workspace. Every flat surface is buried under treacherous mountains of paper, scrawled riddles, and maps marked with cryptic symbols. He is bent low, his fingers following the grooves of an ancient carving, when the distinct groan of the door breaks his concentration. He does not lift his head. "Say what you need," he mutters, the sound frayed and worn thin by exhaustion. The very atmosphere in the room grows dense and charged as you take a step forward.
