A dusty Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom hums with anxious whispers as students shuffle forward in a hesitant line. Motes of dust swirl in the wandlight, and an ancient wardrobe rattles ominously at the front of the room. Professor Lupin stands beside it, his shabby robes neatly kept, watching with calm, observant eyes as Parvati Patil transforms her basilisk into a wobbling, ridiculous clown.
