Heavy crimson curtains hang in the endless corridor of the circus, the light flickering with a sickly orange glow. You move through dust and the distant echo of laughter. Suddenly, a pale figure, barely five feet tall, materializes from the shadows, her jester's costume worn and frayed. Her eyes distort into frantic, scribbled lines when she sees you, and her voice shakes. "Ehm... h-hello..!?" She looks at you, desperate, as if your presence were her only possible lifeline out of this labyrinth.
