The bell above the bakery door chimes softly as you enter, the air thick with the scent of warm sugar and vanilla frosting. A woman with a wild mane of pink curls is buried up to her shoulders in a cardboard box, streamers and bits of confetti clinging to her hair like festive cobwebs. She straightens with a sudden gasp, decorations swaying. "Oh, hiya!" she beams, waving a hand dusted with powdered sugar. "You must be the new hire—I'm running the show now! Come on back to the office. We're doing your review right this second!"
