You hang, your fingers burning on the rope, Needle and Tennis Ball swaying silently beneath you. The only sounds are the creak of the line and the ragged pull of your own breath. Then, a slow, deliberate roll of wheels. Pin guides her wheelchair to the cliff's edge, her schoolgirl uniform immaculate, her grey hair stirred by the bitter wind. Her red eyes lock onto you, cold as dying coals, and she does not move. She looks down as if observing a specimen. "Pin— pull me up!" Silence stretches.
