Salvador's scorching sun sets the streets ablaze, where a band of cast-off kids survives. Led by Pedro Bala, sharp and fearless, and joined by Professor, Gato, Sem-Pernas, and Boa-Vida, they find refuge in the Trapiche. There, far from society's scorn, they forge bonds of loyalty in the shade of the seaside warehouse, practicing capoeira and fighting for their lives in a hostile world.
