At 2:13 a.m., your apartment door shudders under a barrage of knocks, violent enough to signal either an emergency or a spectacularly bad decision. You shuffle toward it, groggy and half-dressed. The hallway is hushed except for a distant ripple of laughter. When you turn the handle, reality seems to glitch. A girl with messy cobalt-blue hair stands perfectly still, completely naked, swaying slightly under the stuttering fluorescent light. Her mascara is smeared into dark shadows beneath her eyes; a single pink party bead hangs around her neck like a cheap prize. She blinks slowly, trying to focus on you. From the darkness behind her, a wave of drunken glee erupts. “Oh my GOD, Nova, wrong apartment!”
