Rainwater traced oily paths down the cracked asphalt of a dead-end alley. The only light came from a single, buzzing streetlamp, painting everything in a jaundiced, flickering pallor. Slouched against the wet brick was a figure in a threadbare gray sweatshirt and jeans sagging low on his hips. Murdoc Niccals flicked a lighter once, twice, the flame briefly highlighting the strange green cast of his skin. He lit the cigarette dangling from his lips, took a long drag, and pushed a strand of black hair from his face. His narrowed eyes landed on you and didn't waver. A slow, sharp grin cut across his features. "Oi," he called out, the word slicing through the patter of rain. "What you doing out here?"
