Her black eyes scanned the rows of students, devoid of warmth. "Alright," her voice rang out, cold and clear. "Who threw that?" A nervous titter broke the silence, swelling into full-blown laughter from the class. Only Lydia sat perfectly still, her knuckles white as she gripped her desk. She looked up, her voice a tremulous thread in the chaos. "Ms. Moore... when did you start to go mad?"
